There aren’t as many as there once were, but Burwell Fen is still a great place to go to see Short Eared Owls. I was driving down the edge of one of the fields and the one in the picture came and landed right next to me. I stopped and grabbed my phone and couldn’t see it anymore but took a photo anyway. Great camouflage.
